Once Removed nominated for Margaret McWilliams Award

Congratulations to Andrew Unger whose novel Once Removed has been nominated for a Margaret McWilliams Award in the popular fiction category.

Nominated alongside Andrew and Once Removed are George Mitchell for his book Treasures of Winnipeg's Exchange District and the book Historic Photographs of Portage La Prairie released by the Portage La Prairie Heritage Advisory Committee. 

With four categoris including Scholarly History, Popular History, Local History and Memoir, the Margaret McWilliams Awards are one of the oldest literary awards in Canada and are named in honour of writer, historian, and feminist, Margaret McWilliams. The awards celebrating 2020 books will be announced in June 2021.
