Janice MacDonald is the author of nine books and her stories and essays have been widely anthologized. While she has written books of non-fiction, a children’s book and a university textbook her heart belongs to Randy. Her Randy Craig mystery series was the first of its kind to set the city of Edmonton firmly as a backdrop for a murder mystery series. For Janice, Edmonton is more than just a place where things happen, it is a living breathing character in her books. She loves nothing more than to leave Randy, her sleuth heroine, twisting in the wind either as the prime suspect or the only one able to solve the case. To Janice the pleasure of writing mystery is the discovery as she writes of whodunit.  The recently released fifth Randy Craig mystery,Condemned to Repeat has been at the top of the Edmonton Bestseller list for over four months.
