Janice will appear on a panel entiled "Locale and the Local: The Importance of Setting in Story" from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM. Her co-panellists are fellow Edmonton writers Todd Babiak (Come Barbarians, The Garneau Block) and Alice Major (author of nine volumes of poetry and the former #YEG poet laureate, among innumerable other honours). The moderator will be author Margaret Macpherson (Body Trade), the writer-in-residence for St. Albert, Strathcona County, and Fort Saskatchewan Public Libraries.
